You might have spent a long time feeling like life is harder for you than it seems to be for other people, even if you can't quite explain why.
Maybe you've learned to push through, mask or hold everything together on the outside, whilst inside you feel overwhelmed, exhausted or unsure of who you really are.
You might be wondering if you could have ADHD or if you are autistic. Maybe you are starting to make sense of how your past experiences or relationships may have impacted you.
I support adults, diagnosed or undiagnosed, who are exploring neurodivergence alongside the impact of burnout, overwhelm and difficult or emotionally neglectful early experiences.

Alongside this, there is often a history of emotional neglect, inconsistency, or relationships where they didn't feel seen, safe, or understood.

I specialise in supporting ADHD and autistic adults where neurodivergence, trauma, and emotional overwhelm overlap.
Counselling with me is a space where you don't have to mask, perform, or translate yourself in order to be understood.
Together, we work gently to:
I am a qualified counsellor with over 25 years' experience in mental health, social care, and supporting people through complex emotional and life experiences.
Alongside my professional training, I also have lived experience of neurodivergence, which gives me a grounded understanding of what it can feel like to live in a world that doesn't always feel built for you.
Counselling with me is calm, paced, and collaborative.
You won't be expected to perform, mask, or get things "right".
We go at a pace that feels safe enough for your nervous system to stay engaged, rather than overwhelmed.
If this sounds like something you recognise in yourself, get in touch.
We can have a brief initial conversation to see whether working together feels like a good fit
